The texts of this resource are in French. This resource also includes many illustrations, coloring pages and printable posters. The language of colors is an educational support for understanding the mixing of colors and their symbolism from the age of 9 with simple and original activities and exercises requiring inexpensive equipment such as markers and colored pencils. We will also approach the artistic currents of Impressionism and Fauvism to illustrate the activities. All activities are preceded by instructions and include illustration pages, coloring pages and printable posters. What is included: The mixture of colors with chromatic circle to complete. We will discuss primary, secondary, tertiary colors, warm and cold colors, complementary colors, analogous colors ; Activities on complementary colors and contrasts ; The symbolism of colors with exercise “emotions and meaning of colors” ; The colors of Impressionism and creating a landscape inspired by Van Gogh ; The colors of Fauvism with two activities inspired by the painters Matisse and Marc “warm colors and cold colors” ; The main characteristics of these two artistic movements “Impressionism and Fauvism” Throughout my activity, I have developed lessons to make them accessible, teach them and share them through PDF documents to teachers as well as parents for their children.
